Do it like Plato is a website about critical thinking, cognitive biases, and active learning. The logotype was inspired by two things: the “interrobang” symbol and the role of dialectic in Plato’s thought. The interrobang asks a question, but, at the same time, it also expresses excitement or disbelief in the form of a question. On the other hand, Plato’s dialectic elicits the truth using questions to expose contradictions.
The interrobang was, therefore, chosen as a symbol signifying the dialectic process described above, in the particular context of this website.
